Other Details to Note
π² A Note on the Experience: This is a genuine cabin in the Maine woods β and we embrace it fully. You may encounter the occasional spider, insect, or the kind of dust that comes with rustic living surrounded by nature. If you're looking for resort-level polish or city conveniences, this may not be the right fit. But if you're ready to trade the noise for birdsong and a fire under the stars, you'll feel right at home. π·οΈ Nature & Wildlife: Guests may encounter insects, spiders, and other wildlife both inside and outside the cabin. This is a natural part of the experience and not a reflection of cleanliness or maintenance. We take pride in keeping the cabin clean and comfortable β but we are in nature, and nature is part of the charm. πΎ Pets: Dogs are welcome! A completed pet agreement is required prior to your stay. π Road & Vehicle Notes: The cabin is accessed via a private dead-end dirt road. Road conditions can vary by season, particularly during mud season (typically MarchβMay) and winter. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended. π‘οΈ Heating & Seasonal Conditions: The cabin is equipped with heating, however temperatures in Maine can drop significantly β especially in shoulder seasons and winter. Guests are encouraged to pack accordingly. π§ Well Water: The property uses well water, which is safe and clean but may have a slightly different taste or appearance than city water. This is completely normal for rural Maine properties. πΆ Wi-Fi & Technology: Wi-Fi is provided, however as with all rural properties, speeds and connectivity can occasionally vary. We are not responsible for service interruptions beyond our control. π Noise & Environment: The cabin is in a rural, wooded setting. Guests may hear natural sounds including wildlife, wind, and neighboring farm activity. There are no guarantees of complete silence however you will be surprised on how quiet things are when you remove the city noise. π· Security Cameras: Exterior security cameras are located on the sides of the house and at the garage for property security purposes only. No indoor cameras. π« No Hunting: Hunting is not permitted on the property.
